CERAMIC DUO
Last year I met with the talented Norwegian ceramicist Helene Jørgensen. She doesn’t only share her first name with me, and two Helene’s are better than one. We also share the passion and love for simple design, small and handmade production with good quality and sustainability.
Together we have created Lowrí Ceramic Duo and I couldn’t be more proud of the final product.
The idea behind the design of this duo kit is that the customer only need to buy the ceramic container once, and then buy a refill of the scented candle when in need of a new one.
In this way the customer can explore several fragrances without the cost of a whole new ceramic candle and of course it makes it all more sustainable.
The first kit the customer purchase includes one refill with the same fragrance as the main ceramic candle.

Retail price: 1499,-
This duo-kit includes a ceramic scented candle and a refill candle. Both handmade in Norway.
The candles are made and designed by Lowrí in Oslo and the ceramic container are made by a Norwegian ceramicist: Helene Jørgensen.
The candle is made in a matt off-white ceramic inspired by sand, stone and nature. Together with natural soy candle wax.
The main ceramic candle contains 14oz/400g of soy wax and will have a burning time of around 60 hours.
All Lowrí fragrances will be in the same design and color.

REFILL
Retail price: 350,-
The refill candle contains 12oz/350g of natural coco wax. With a burning time of around 50-55 hours.
The costumer place the refill scented candle in the empty ceramic container after the original candle is burned and rinsed out with hot water.

PACKAGING
The ceramic duo-kit comes in a brown kraft sleeve packaging with dark brown simple design and text.
Made from paper pulp that’s sourced from responsibly managed forests and mills. Paper and cardboard that is to be recycled is broken down into small pieces and turned into "new" pulp. This pulp is usually mixed with virgin paper, as every time paper is recycled, it loses a little structural integrity. The pulp is then pressed and dried, resulting in cardboard.
Locally manufactured in Europe, meaning a lower transportation footprint compared to goods produced and imported from abroad.

REFILL PACKAGING
Contains 60% of recycled materials.
The bag consists of two layers of material: brown kraft paper with an inner layer of polyethylene (PE). The material used is of high quality. The brown kraft paper provides a natural look and the inner layer provides protection for the product!
Characteristics:
-Aluminium-free material (sustainable choice).
-50% bio-based (compostable).
-Good barrier for product protection.
